What is Enhanced QAOA and why does it cost more? ▾
Standard QAOA runs 1,024 probability samples across 8 valuation scenarios. Enhanced QAOA (Analyst & Fund) runs 100,000 samples across 32 scenarios with 6 optimisation layers instead of 3. This produces significantly tighter probability distributions and more reliable Bear/Base/Bull weightings — especially for complex companies. The compute cost is minimal for us; the price difference reflects the quality difference in results.
Is this real quantum computing? ▾
QAOA is a genuine quantum algorithm — it was developed for quantum hardware. ValQ runs it classically for now, because real QPU hardware (IonQ, D-Wave) costs $1-$200 per circuit run, making it unviable at retail pricing. Real QPU integration is on our 2026–2027 roadmap. We'll be transparent when we ship it.
How do I pay? ▾

What's the difference between Startup and Fund for startup valuation? ▾
The Startup plan is designed specifically for founders — it only covers startup/private company valuation (30/month) with all 8 methods, VC term sheet and PDF. Fund includes startup valuation plus all stock/ETF/crypto features, 300 total reports, portfolio optimiser and API. If you only need startup valuation, Startup ($29) is better value than Fund ($89).
Can I cancel anytime? ▾
Yes. Subscriptions are monthly. Just don't renew and your plan reverts to Free at the end of the billing period. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Annual plans are non-refundable after 7 days.
